Local Notes
Main line train services run from Diss taking about an hour and a half to London Liverpool Street. Stradbroke has two pubs, shops including a bakers, butchers and general store, a leisure centre and swimming pool. There is also a primary school and a high school.

Along with the traditional character North Lane Farm offers modern and flexible accommodation.

There are exposed beams, corner posts, braces and studs and the attic room displays the superb original 16th century roof structure. The original mullion windows have been restored with hand blown glass and leaded diamond panes. There is magnificent beamed drawing room which is divided by open studwork to also offer space for formal dining.

The open plan styled kitchen makes a superb breakfast/living area featuring fireplace with log burner. The study could also be a ground floor bedroom with the adjacent shower room and this part of the property has potential as annexe accommodation. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a family bathroom and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The attic room provides bedroom accommodation although there is limited head height in places.

From the five bar timber entrance gates a driveway leads to a parking area for several cars and to the equestrian facilities beyond. The gardens to the front and rear are mainly to lawn with shrubs and borders and there is a pretty pond. There is a terraced area to the rear of the property.

The equestrian facilities are well thought out with six Loddon boxes including two large foaling boxes with stable doors to the front and windows to the rear. There are four further internal Loddon boxes with a central tack room with an internal tie up area. There is a purpose made loading bay which the owners find useful for loading young stock. On the far side of the stable yard there is an open fronted modern barn with external measurements of about 60' x 40' which is used for horsebox parking and storage. Eleven paddocks are post and rail fenced with walkways. The manège is 40m x 20m and post and rail fenced.

The traditional timbered barn has recently been repaired under listing buildings consent and offers great potential for other uses subject to the necessary consents.

The land extends to around 20 ACRES (stms).

Agents Notes:
There is planning consent and listed building consent to replace the cart lodge and link to the farmhouse with a new boot/utility room and to repair the traditional barn (this work has been completed). Footings have also been dug for the new cart lodge and inspected.

A public footpath goes across the land in the furthest field to the east of the property.
